Dimension X is a simple game that I created for the Otherplace exhibition at Industrigatan in Malmö. It made use of stereoscopic 3D effect, and was designed with high contrast to make object projected at the exhibition pop out from the screen. The players used wireless PS3 controllers to navigate through space. The goal was simply to collect points by flying onto the white, abstract geometric shapes, and to at the same time avoid running into the black ones. As the player collected points, the speed increased, providing a simple difficulty progression, and at times inducing slight Vertigo sensations.
Please note that the recordings of the application are much more laggy than the actual application itself. Video recording the a realtime application requires better computing power than my macbook could provide.
