During the spring of 2013 I was course responsible for the Arabic Game Jam evening course, which was aimed at introducing game design and game design tools to teenagers and young adults with no previous experience. Some of them took part in the game jam event in may, among lot’s of other participants from various backgrounds. The Arabic Game Jam is a 48 hour game design competition that offers participants a chance to win prices and get in contact with the industry in various ways. As the Malmö university representative for the project, I also aided the project leader Karolin El-Jaleb from Media Evolution to coordinate the event held at K3.
