Game application made as an output for children to craft electronic buttons to. It was part of a ’workshop on wheels’ aimed at local after school activities for children. In this part of the workshop, the participants created basic buttons from industrial waste materials. They then connected them to correspondingly color coded wires connected to a circuit built-in to a box. The electronics and communication to Unity was made using the Arduino microcontroller.
The idea was to keep the possibilities open for the kids to be creative, and to have them gather in a collaborative play session using their own push buttons at the end. The project was made for Kreatech, and was a collaboration between Arduino and the local maker space Stpln in Malmö.
